Cockroach Control Service

Roach Life cycle

American Cockroach Life Cycle. Within (3-7) days after mating, American cockroach females produce egg cases known as oothecae.

Each ootheca contains approximately 15 embryos. Adult females produce between (6-14) oothecae in one lifetime.

That’s why it is critical to hire a Tulsa pest control company before cockroaches start to reproduce and spread.

Our Cockroach Control procedure

Our experienced pest control technicians know exactly how to find and get rid of cockroaches in your home or place of business.

We wear knee pads and crawl, which allows us to get into hard-to-reach areas. You might see us tap or bang the table and chairs, Cockroaches hiding under the table will not be expecting a thud. Some will fall onto the floor.

When inspecting for German Cockroaches, we look for architectural lines. German cockroaches follow paths. Where pillars touch a suspended ceiling is a good example. They use the support to come down into residential & commercial kitchens and return to hide for most of the day.

Some other tools and tricks we use are:

Flashlights

Flashlights are necessary to seek out the source instead of a flushing agent. When inspecting, it is not always needed to flush with a chemical product, sometimes a small puff of air will flush cockroaches.

Flow Patterns

We look at flow patterns.

Understanding flow patterns helps us find cockroach harborage areas.

Smell

Unfortunately, cockroaches have an odor. And different cockroaches have unique scents.

Our pest control technicians know what the smell for, and what to do when they find the odor of roaches.

Preferences

We search for heat sources.

Cockroaches prefer warm, moist areas. In kitchens, we look for compressors and pilot lights.

Cockroach Control: Which TREATMENT Is The Best Way To KILL ROACHES?

The problem with over the counter insecticides is they are repellent-based products that cause the cockroaches to scatter.

Non-residual, repellent insecticides can push pests into newer, even worse areas, maybe even in front of guests.

Alpine & Phantom non-repellent insecticides kill cockroaches and protect your home and business.

We do not want to push roaches into a more sensitive area, removing them from the treated foraging areas cross-contaminate products, interfere with the cockroaches while they feed on or around treated areas, disrupt feeding behaviors with bait placement.

There is more to successful roach extermination than meets the eye.  The good news is that we’re here to help.  Contact us for your cockroach treatment options today.

When appropriately applied according to the label and once dried, everything Integrity uses is safe for people and pets to be around.

We use these products in doctor’s offices, day-cares, schools, multi-family dwellings, and nursing homes.

How Do You Know If You Have ROACHES?

Since cockroaches are nocturnal, seeing them in the day time is a sign of an infestation.

Other indicators of a cockroach infestation include feces that resemble black pepper, or if the cockroaches are larger, the droppings will be cylindrical shaped.

If you see roaches emerging from the base of a wall or adjoining porches and patios, there’s a good chance your house is infested.

How To Find the Source of a Cockroach Problem:

Still can’t figure out how to deal with American Cockroach & German Cockroach Infestations?

Leave the lights off. Enter a room or closet in darkness. Flip on your flashlight and search.

If you see cockroaches, then turn on the light and watch them run. They will guide you to where they hide.

In commercial & industrial settings, ask the first employee to arrive every morning to track which Way the roaches are heading and where they are harboring.

They will get the first view of the cockroaches pattern.

Commercial Kitchens: Commercial sticky traps and monitors are your best friend.  They work 24/7 / 365 days a year, and they never complain.

They work great on German and Oriental cockroach services.

Roach Control In Commercial Kitchens

commercial kitchen roach removal tulsa oklahoma

When treating a commercial kitchen, the worst thing that could happen is pushing the cockroaches into areas that contain guests.

Repellent insecticides will drive roaches away from treatment, and roaches quickly build up immunity to these pesticides.

We follow this process of DO NOT’s when treating a residential or commercial kitchen.

  • Do not fragment or spread cockroaches into more sensitive areas like dining rooms and reception areas.
  • Do not stop roaches from foraging across a treated surface.
  • Do not contaminate Alpine cockroach gel bait placements.
  • Do not interfere with roaches feeding on bait or around the treated area.
  • Do not disrupt cockroach feeding behavior if bait placement is nearby.
